Hey, I’m Cindy, and I GET IT...

You want someone whose “been there and done that.”  Who gets you, knows how frustrated you are, how overwhelmed you feel.  Who understands how frustrating the phone calls from school can be.  How scary it is to wait on the lab results.  You’ve tried it all; you’ve maybe tried the therapy thing before and either the person wasn’t helpful or simply not a good match.  You want to know “Can she really help me?”  "Can I really trust someone with my fears and failures?"

I get it!  Parenting and adulting can be hard, it’s even harder when you feel alone.

I don’t believe it’s my role to "fix you", rather I believe it's my role to equip, encourage, and empower you with proven tools to "find yourself" from within.  By sharing these tools, you are able to adapt in the waves of life.  You can do it...I can help!  Clients who understand this, are the clients I have helped succeed.  Understanding that you have to work and be committed helps therapy be a success for you.  There’s no magic wand, no quick fix.  Problems didn’t start overnight, they took time to build.  Client’s I work best with want someone with a sense of humor, empathy, and insight.  I definitely participate in your treatment.  Therapy will seem like you’re talking to a friend you're the driver and I'm the GPS.

I may use sand tray and expressive approaches to help you get through the tough times and reconnect to your best self.  By using somatic and expressive approaches, it helps to create more joy and disarm the fear and anxiety we have in the unknown.
